Though the finer details may vary,

we all share the same story.

This is God's story.

This is also your story.

Open the curtains and let us continue.

...and died for us sinners.

-Romans 5:6

The time has come for our Prince to make payment on the Princess' debt.  She is totally bankrupt and as her collateral He will pay her wages to sin and its eternal sentence of death.

Some thought the Prince would set her free by destroying the evil villain.  But her life in chains and imprisonment is just the manifestation of a deeper problem.  It is the result of her carnal desires rooted in self.  The love of the King traded in for the lusts of the flesh and a life of empty promises that leads to death.

This life bent on self wounded our Prince of light and marred Him until He was unrecognizable.  Then it drove nails into his hands and feet and nailed Him to a cross.  There He took on the full weight of her sins and in her place He died, and in the darkness working behind the scenes loomed the evil villain.

But this is just the beginning of what the Prince has done for her.  With his mission complete on Earth the King raised Him from the dead, and in such a great victory He crushed the evil villain's head.  Now seated at the right hand of the King He lives to intercede for her and offer his strength to see her through.  There He and the King wait patiently for her to accept his hand in marriage and prepare for her wedding day.

And now the Princess can be the recipient of all He has done for her.  It is his wedding gift to her as she accepts his hand in marriage.  Then in a supernatural miracle bought by the blood of the Prince her old life rooted in self and the lusts therein will be uprooted and die, and severed from that dead beat the power of the evil villain over her will be broken for his hold on her was through that former life.  She will also be liberated from her noble Knight who was created for the carnal life.

Although the Prince has returned home to prepare a place for her He has not left her helpless and alone.  If she accepts his hand in marriage the King and the Prince will also give her the gift of their Heart who will resurrect her to new life and lead her by their love.  In following their Heart her new life will shine brightly as it blooms and spreads the fragrance of their love.  All blessings are now freely hers in her new relationship with them awakened to their love.

Do you see it?  It was already in her destiny to be at one with the King and Prince...to be like them found within their Heart.  Although she needs to understand that the King is the source of all life and she can only come into her destiny through his Son.

And so is the miracle of this love story that is surpassed by no other, but as we said in the beginning what is love if it is not given a choice?  For love cannot be truly expressed unless it is set free and allowed to choose.  So choose wisely dear Princess, don't be a fool.  There lives a Prince like no other whom you were created for.  He finds you the fairest of them all and his desire is for you.  He offers you his Heart to lead you by his love, and He will return for you on your wedding day.  With life complete, two-as-one, your happily ever after awaits.

As we draw close the curtains to this story the final ending will be your choice.  A happy ending with your Prince waits for you.  Although there is an alternative ending if you choose to go your own way, for looming in the darkness the evil villain and a life of tormenting thirst also await.  Worse than that is the loss of such a great love compared to no other.  It is a fiery love so ablaze that even the grave could not snub its flame or hold it back.

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this:

While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:8

“I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep.

All who came before me were thieves and robbers.

But the true sheep did not listen to them.

Yes, I am the gate.

Those who come in through me will be saved.

They will come and go freely and will find good pastures.

The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy.

My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.

 “I am the good shepherd.

The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep."

John 10:7-11
