I love those deeper connections that speak of our Lord and contain the melody of his Love, especially those that are orchestrated by Him. This has been my experience in my recent discovery of this gem. The heartfelt, passionate embrace of these intimate lyrics places it as a highly recommended item on my list. We were created to be intimate children of God. Not as defined by the world, but as found in marriage to our Bridegroom Jesus. As deep as I can go, my heart continues to cry out, and so my sweet King continues to call me deeper, deep calling unto deep. Of late I found myself gravitating towards secular love songs and singing them to our Lord due to the personal contents. To be intimate with another one knows the color of their eyes and the sparkle therein. One knows their voice and those tones they use to communicate something on a different level. We should know the Lord, at the least like this, and we should be passionate about Him for He is the most beautiful of all. What a wonderful love journey it is. Our present troubles are truly a light affliction in comparison to the wonderful glory He is bringing us into, from glory to glory. May we drink deeply of his wells, tossing care aside as drunken fools in the vast ocean of his Love. This has been my desire for some time now, to continue to grow there, and like a beautiful jewel from heaven dropped in my lap, these kids have been a wonderful addition. May we all continue to grow in intimacy and passion for Jesus, our beautiful and glorious King. To Him be all the glory and honor forever and ever. If you are looking for a good production externally, you won't find it here. The DVD clearly reveals amateur work behind the scenes, or at least low budget equipment. But don't let that stop you, not judging a book by its cover is so fitting in this contemplation. "Priceless" and "Precious" are words that capture the beauty within. To borrow from one of the song's lyrics, like a "sloppy, wet kiss from heaven". May you find within its contents a passionate embrace of His Love.
