Princess Jen's Story  

    But those who trust in the Lord will  find  new strength.

     The last few months have been very hard for me. I just moved to my very first apartment and the bills are starting to pile up. My car broke down and I have no money to fix it or buy a new one. I sometimes walk to work during the day but now I am working the night shift and it is very hard on me not knowing if I am going to make it home. I can't afford to pay for a taxi every time I work.  It cost me approximately $20.00 one way.

     One night I did not have any money to pay for a taxi ride home when my shift ended. I didn't know how I would get home. My mom and grandmother always told me to pray, no matter what, and ask God for his help and guidance. So I went to the bathroom and prayed and asked God to help me. And He did. A guest at work gave me $5.00. Then another guest gave me $5.00. And then a coworker came in and gave me $10.00 from her pocket just like that. I felt like crying. God works in so many mysterious ways. He is truly amazing.

     God gives us strength when we are weak. He can fill us when we are empty. And He can heal us when we are broken.

     All things are possible if we keep our eyes on God and never give up. Turn all your struggles over to God and ask for help.
