Ambassadors for Jesus
Committed to Learning and Growing in Him

Stepped outside this morning to buy some coffee and a bagel and was greeted by a gorgeous day. I love these Florida days when the sun is out and there is a cool breeze in the air. Soon temperatures and humidity will rise and for me the weather won't be as enjoyable. Yet I will enjoy this day.

I plan on working in my yard. Need to prune some plants and do my lawn. May try and do some work on my home too. I've neglected my gutters long enough where they are now sprouting weeds, hee, hee, kid you not. Yet
my pesky friends, them carpenter bees, are back. Tis their season so I may have to put that one off for a few more weeks. Here's one trapped in my screened in patio, probably chewing his way out.

We had a longer than usual stretch of really cold nights this winter and I am glad to see my Roebellini Palms, purchased as infants, have matured enough to survive on their own (even if in need of pruning). Although this cool vine that I had growing inside my front pine tree has withered. It actually has roots along the stretch of it that it tucks within the bark of the tree. People used to admire it then stop me and ask if they could have
a piece that they could use to grow one for themselves. I'm thinking and hoping it isn't dead. That the roots are safely tucked away in the tree and with the
new spring season, will see new life once again.
Reminds me of the seasons we go through in life. We can meet with death to some older things, yet our roots can remain safely tucked away in our Tree of LIfe Jesus. To remain sheltered in God's love and peace as we allow the Vinedresser to prune us and prepare us for new and expanded growth in Him.
And as I stepped out for a better picture of my Roebellini
Palm, look what I discovered on my pine tree, signs of new life which I have felt reflected in my own. Our Lord is faithful and his mercy endures forever. May we grow in our trust in Him as He looks to bring us into fuller measure in Him. Our Wonderful Vinedresser knows what He is doing.
Ephesians 1:19-23
I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms. Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else—not only in this world but also in the world to come. God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the church. And the church is his body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with himself.
Until next time.
